Leigh Bowery Doll !!!!!!!


In the early 80's, British magazine THE FACE asked Leigh Bowery to create a small doll which would look like him.... here's the result!!!!





`These clothes were all part of my winter collection, a jumble of Indian and futuristic ideas called ´A Paki In Outer Space. All my models had blue or green faces and garments had six sleeves ( like Indian Gods ). The fabrics were all modern, man-made nes and there are stars and moons on the clothes. At the moment I´m not selling anywhere in London apart from to individual friends. In New York my clothes are available throught Susanne Bartsh. (Leigh Bowery, The Face magazine, 1986)
