KODAK AD
"(...) Leigh managed to get a few well-paid jobs in the media world.
He was asked to take part in a Kodak campaign in Germany,
but it was not a happy experience and he felt he was treated very badly by the company."
- Sue Tilley, "Lifes and Times of An Icon" - p. 153
PEPE JEANS AD
"The best paid job he ever did was for Pepe Jeans. He had to do a week's filming but
it resulted in a long advert, of which he was the star, that was shown in cinemas up and down
the country. He had to whisper "Where's Pepe" which was ther advertising slogan at the time.
The advert was considered to be a bit of a breakthrough and got lots of media coverage which
pleased leigh no end as it brought stardom one step closer."
- Sue Tilley, "Lifes and Times of An Icon" - p. 153
